Meet the New Faces of Cobalt
We are excited to welcome three seasoned professionals.
Reflecting our recent organizational growth, we have also strengthened the Cobalt Team with the addition of three new senior staff, including an addition to the Cobalt Leadership Team.
Stuart Hood, PEng, CEng, LEED AP
Associate
Since beginning his career 20 years ago, Stuart has gained global experience across a diverse range of world-class projects. Stuart’s holistic design perspective will add value to all his projects through the effective integration of cross-disciplinary teams that will produce high performance solutions. As a member of the Leadership Team, he will manage a production team focused on the industrial, institutional, and health care sectors.
Paul Richards, BEng, CEng, MCIBSE
Project Manager
Paul joins the Cobalt team with 15 years of solid engineering experience. Paul’s comprehensive background ranging from concept design through to implementation has given him an integrated perspective. Paul’s passion for sustainability is demonstrated in his ability to repeatedly deliver buildings that exceed accepted energy standards, while respecting the environment.
Jim Wright, BA, AD
Project Manager
With over 40 years of experience, Jim has recently relocated to Vancouver to join the Cobalt Team from the US West Coast. He believes that the true role of the consulting engineer is to listen to the client’s vision first and foremost. Jim’s personal design philosophy stresses the importance of innovation and progressive solutions. He introduces these ideas to clients while remaining focused on the importance of first costs, energy costs, and maintenance costs of the every design solution.
