Ivan Lee, Associate
“Electrical designs support, facilitate, and protect the central nervous system of every corporation.”

Ivan brings over fifteen years of industry experience to the Cobalt Team. His unique background in an integrated construction environment, enables him to fully understand all phases of the design process from conception to construction management and beyond. This requires striking a balance between a variety of issues, such as scheduling, costing and project quality. Ivan has considerable knowledge in the design of lighting, power systems, life safety and communications systems.
Fully aligned with the current marketplace, Ivan’s approach to design is future focused. His personal guiding philosophy is to design electrical systems that focus on the total life cycle cost rather than initial costs or maintenance costs. To follow this model, he incorporates site specific conditions, resulting in sustainable designs that embody the least amount of mechanical energy.
In today’s fast paced business environment, it is essential to design electrical systems to fulfill the requirements of tomorrow. Information systems have become the backbone of any organization and information management is a critical function. Essentially, information physical pathway and power system quality form the nervous system of a corporation.
The heavy reliance on information systems has lead to the design of structured cabling systems to facilitate change. Power distribution systems are being designed to provide a reliable power source for the latest technology or critical systems, such as VoIP, CCTV, Data Centres, Nurse Call Systems, and Code Blue Systems.
