Conrad Schartau, Managing Partner
Conrad brings over 20 years of building services experience to the Cobalt team. Coming from the UK where sustainability is highly developed, he displays an incredible amount of thought leadership for all aspects of building services. Conrad is a champion of promoting new technologies in North America that are proven in other parts of the world, such as variable refrigerant flow systems, which dramatically increase energy efficiency in buildings.
After a solid record of success in the U.K. and Europe, Conrad plans to succeed in North America in a similar fashion, starting with the effective integration of mechanical and electrical building services at Cobalt. In addition, his personal and professional commitment to continuous improvement and quality management, provides him with the required dedication and leadership skills needed to raise the bar for all aspects of Cobalt’s corporate services.
On a technical level, he is well versed in both green and sustainable engineering techniques, the integrated design approach, technical specifications and designs. Conrad is very experienced in building systems designs, both as a designer and a project manager.
As the Managing Partner, he continues to share his knowledge and experience as a guest speaker and presenter. Conrad’s extensive management training and experience coupled with his solid client services skills, enable him to oversee operations with a keen eye.
